These days Quest is a daily ritual for the neighbourhood — breakfast that runs all day, coffee we take seriously, and cinnamon rolls baked fresh before the doors open.

There's a thread of South Africa running quietly through it all, too: boerewors on the Quest breakfast, chakalaka on the side, and rooibos in the red cappuccino. It's where we're from, lightly worn.

Mostly, though, we're here for the regulars — the slow mornings, the catch-ups, the people who've made Quest part of their week.
